Lelu the Wanderer

I want to share a character concept inspired by a model I painted some time ago. This is the story of Lelu the Wanderer:

Lelu the Wanderer

Lelu is of the ‘Featherpuff’ tribe, a joyous community of tree dwelling wood elves.

One of her fondest memory is of her father playing pan flutes at tribal celebrations. She would dance the night away with the other juveniles as the elders chant and sang.

Yet, life wasn’t always fun and games. Lelu endured much training as she grew. One day, she was tasked with delivering good to a neighboring tribe.

As she neared it, she knew something was wrong. Smoke filled the air and fire crackled in the distance. The tribe was razed. Investigating the carnage, she found no survivors. This was a brutal orc assault. What's more, they had already left and their tracks led straight toward her tribe.

Horrified, Lelu ran. 25 miles she ran in the underbrush without resting once. Still, she was too late.

Her tribe, slain. Orcs still covered the field, looting the bodies. That was the last thing she saw that day as a hammer slammed into the back of her head.

Some time later, Lelu awoke to the smell of burnt flesh, face caked in blood and mud. Wiping her eyes free, she found her father, slain. His sword and pan flute both tossed aside from the orc raiders as junk.

Weak, she collected her father’s gear and stumbled ahead. Unsure of where to go.

...

I hope you enjoyed reading Lelu's story as much as I enjoyed writing it. Several items in her inventory are featured in the story to bring the story together. It does a ton to bring her character to life.

Feel free to use Lelu's character sheet and backstory for your games. Tell me about her adventures. I'd love to hear them.

Also, if you like the mini, consider getting your own at Amazon or at your friendly local game store.
